President Donald Trump delivered a forceful rebuke Thursday night after a federal court attempted to block his bold America First tariff policies.

As Trump noted, his policies are designed to protect American industries and jobs from foreign exploitation.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit stepped in to temporarily allow Trump’s global tariffs to remain in effect.

While only temporary, the ruling provides a crucial lifeline just a day after the U.S. Court of International Trade attempted to strike them down.

The lower court had ruled that Trump exceeded his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

However, critics say the move reeks of anti-Trump bias rather than sound legal judgment.

President Trump, never one to shy away from defending American sovereignty and workers, took to Truth Social with a passionate post.

In the post, the president slammed the decision and called out those he believes are undermining the country from within.

“The U.S. Court of International Trade ‘incredibly’ ruled against the desperately needed tariffs,” Trump wrote.

“Where do these initial three Judges come from?

“How is it possible for them to have potentially done such damage to the United States of America?

“Is it purely a hatred of ‘TRUMP?’ What other reason could it be?”

The president also pointed a finger at Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society, a once-trusted conservative legal group.

Trump revealed that early in his presidency, he relied on the group’s recommendations for judicial appointments.

However, this is something he now regrets.

“It was suggested that I use The Federalist Society as a recommending source on Judges,” Trump explained.

“I did so, openly and freely, but then realized that they were under the thumb of a real ‘sleazebag’ named Leonard Leo, a bad person who, in his own way, probably hates America, and obviously has his own separate ambitions.”

He didn’t mince words when assessing the damage:

“This is something that cannot be forgotten!

“With all of that being said, I am very proud of many of our picks, but very disappointed in others.

“They always must do what’s right for the Country!”

Trump made it clear that his America First trade policy—central to his successful 2016 and 2024 campaigns—remains non-negotiable.

“The ruling by the U.S. Court of International Trade is so wrong, and so political!” he said.

“Hopefully, the Supreme Court will reverse this horrible, country-threatening decision, QUICKLY and DECISIVELY.”

Ending his post with a sharp reminder of what’s at stake, Trump declared:

“The President of the United States must be allowed to protect America against those that are doing it Economic and Financial harm.

“Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
