When facts “prove”
Jesus fulfilled prophecy
without a shadow of a doubt, we’re faced with a decision. Respond appropriately, or try and pretend that facts don’t matter.
I’m convinced that no matter how much proof you give a person, some people will still not believe it’s a fact. When it’s beyond a theory or opinion, a person is forced to make a decision.
We’re living in the generation where things change literally every day. And we’ll continue to see change happening faster and faster.
The main thing people need to understand is that God is real and so is the devil.
The Apostle Paul said the devil is the god of this world and he’s “blinding the minds” of people so that they won’t believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God.
Why does this matter to you or why should it matter to you?
Simple: odds of Jesus fulfilling prophecies, number of bible prophecies fulfilled, old testament prophecies of Jesus birth, old testament prophecies fulfilled in history, Jesus prophecy end times, odds of Jesus fulfilling 48 prophecies and how many messianic prophecies did Jesus fulfill?
If Satan can distract you long enough to keep you from evening thinking about Jesus Christ, he can drag your soul into hell with him.
Anyone who believes that when you die, that’s it, you’re going to get a VERY rude and horrifying shock!
It’s pretty simple. Depending on your choice, your decision, is going to determine where you spend eternity… and that’s a long long time.
Let’s talk about the odds of Jesus Christ fulfilling prophecy that has come to pass and is coming to pass.
Jesus literally fulfilled 44 Messianic prophecies. He fulfilled 44 prophecies that prove He is the Son of the Living God + 353 prophecies in total he’s fulfilled.
Did you know that the Old Testament prophet Micah who wrote around 700 BC out of the hundreds and hundreds of cities and all the nations that existed then, he said Bethlehem of Judea would be the birthplace of the Messiah and about the same time Isaiah said that the Christ would be born of a virgin.
The prophecy that was made in 1012 BC stated “his hands and feet would eventually be pierced,” a clear reference of death by crucifixion. 800 years before the Romans ever even crucified anybody.
The probability that Jesus of Nazareth could have fulfilled even 8 of these prophecies would be one in 1 comma with 17 zeros after it. (12 zeros is a trillion)
This gives total credibility and proof, not only to who Jesus really is, but it gives total credibility that the word of God, the Bible is and has been written not just by men but by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is full of prophecies, either events that have happened or events that will happen in the future. in the book Science Speaks, Dr. Peter Stoner looked at the probability that one man could have fulfilled even 8/300 + prophecies that relate to him in the Bible.
Here’s what he said the probability of one man fulfilling each of these prophecies and the sum of one man fulfilling all eight prophecies would be.
Keep in mind, the time span between the Prophecies of the Old Testament and the New Testament are hundreds even thousands of years.
The Bible prophecy said the Christ or Messiah would be born in Bethlehem in the Old Testament in Micah and then in the New Testament was fulfilled in Matthew Chapter 2.
the odds or probability… 1 + 28,0000.
John the Baptist talked about in Malachi chapter 3. That was fulfilled in Mark chapter 1. The odds of that… 1 in 1000.
Riding on a donkey in Zechariah. He fulfilled that in Matthew chapter 21. The odds… 1 in 100.
Christ would be betrayed by a friend in Psalm 41. Judas betrayed him and Luke chapter 22 fulfilled. The odds 1 in 1000.
Christ would be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver. Judas sold him out for 30 pieces of silver in Matthew 26… the odds 1 and 1000.
30 pieces of silver to buy a potters field in Zachariah chapter 11. The same prophecy fulfilled in Matthew chapter 27. The odds of that happening… one in 100,000.
Christ kept silent going on trial even though he was innocent, Isaiah 53. Jesus was silent when he was questioned? Mark chapter 14… The odds one in 1000
Christ being crucified in Psalm 22. Fulfilled in John chapter 19… the odds one in 10,000.
So when you do the math, the probability of him fulfilling all of these prophecies are one in 10 to the 20th power, or 1 with 28 zeros behind it.
When you think about the time span between the writings of the Old Testament and the Fulfillment by Christ in the New Testament, the prophecies were either given to the prophets by God or the profits just wrote them down like they thought they should be.
Christ fulfilled all eight prophecies. What are the odds that the prophets were just guessing? There aren’t enough zeros to make that claim rational.
There are so many more prophecies Jesus fulfilled, but I’m trying to keep this short and simple.
The devil will always try and imitate Jesus, but there many things that he can’t do.
He can’t fulfill all the prophecies Jesus has. But, for those who know almost nothing about God’s Word, he will have his antiChrist imitate enough of the prophecies to appear to be the messiah.
Jesus even said, “false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders “to deceive,” if possible, even the elect.
Jesus was crucified, died, was buried and then rose from the dead.
The antichrist will also imitate that as it’s written in Revelation chapter 13:3. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
This is why the world must be illiterate of Bible understanding and knowledge. Some truth will seem to be enough.
The world will be looking for someone to save them from the disasters happening all around them, and a man that even meets some of the “prophecies,” will be welcomed with open arms.
If you understand that Jesus is the ONLY way to eternal life, like the Bible says… you have to make a decision before it’s too late. Tomorrow could be too late for you.
Only God Himself knows the day your life as you know it on this earth will end… Then eternity starts.
Jesus is the Son of the Living God. He wants you to turn from your sin by giving your life to Him. He’s NOT a religion, He’s a person. The person that died for you and me.
There’s no question that Jesus Fulfilled Prophecy, from the Old Testament through the New Testament.
