U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is warning the developer of a controversial anti-ICE app to “watch out.”
Bondi issued the warning after CNN ran a glowing feature on the tool, which alerts users to the locations of federal immigration agents.
The app, called ICEBlock, allows users to anonymously report sightings of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
The reports are complete with notes on the agents’ clothing, vehicle type, and specific location.
It is designed to help illegal aliens avoid capture.
The developer, Joshua Aaron, claims he created the app to fight what he calls the Trump administration’s “Nazi-like” immigration enforcement policies.
“I wanted to do something to fight back,” Aaron told CNN, parroting far-left rhetoric that likens lawful deportations of illegal aliens to fascism.
But Bondi didn’t mince words in her response.
Appearing on Fox News’s “Hannity” Monday night, Bondi slammed both the app and CNN for endangering federal officers.
“He’s giving a message to criminals where our federal officers are,” Bondi warned.
“And he cannot do that.
“We are looking at it, we are looking at him, and he better watch out, because that’s not protected speech.
“That is threatening the lives of our law enforcement officers throughout this country.”

ICEBlock includes a vague disclaimer telling users not to “interfere with law enforcement” or incite violence.
However, law enforcement officials say the intent is clear: to obstruct federal immigration enforcement and embolden criminals.
CNN’s decision to promote the app sparked immediate backlash from the Trump administration and conservative officials, who say the tool puts lives at risk and emboldens lawbreakers.
ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons pointed to a 500% increase in assaults against ICE agents as deportations ramp up under President Trump’s renewed crackdown on illegal immigration.
“This app makes it worse,” said Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, on “The Will Cain Show”.
“It’s simply disgusting — and any network that covers that is disgusting as well.”
Bondi agreed, condemning CNN for glorifying a tool designed to tip off criminals and thwart law enforcement.
“Shame on them,” she said.
“They’re promoting a tool that risks the lives of men and women who wear a badge and enforce the law.
“It’s beyond irresponsible.”
CNN, true to form, stood by its coverage, issuing a boilerplate defense to Fox News:
“CNN reported on a publicly available app… and reached out to ICE for comment.”
But critics say this is just the latest example of CNN pushing an anti-Trump, anti-law enforcement agenda, no matter the cost.
