Trump Planning Mass Fast-Track Deportations of I…

President Donald Trump’s administration is planning to remove unprecedented numbers of illegal aliens from the country.

The Trump administration is preparing a major immigration shift that could lead to the dismissal of asylum claims for hundreds of thousands of illegal border-crossers, according to a CNN report citing two sources familiar with the plan.

The new policy would apply to migrants who crossed the southern or northern borders illegally and later filed asylum claims with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

If implemented, the plan would subject these individuals to “fast-track” deportation, formally known as expedited removal.

It would effectively bypass lengthy immigration court proceedings.

“The people being targeted in this case are those who entered the U.S. unlawfully and later applied for asylum,” the report notes.

“Their cases are expected to be closed, therefore leaving them at risk of deportation.”

The policy could impact as many as 250,000 migrants from the 1.45 million pending asylum cases currently in the system.

A memo obtained by CNN states that USCIS, under the direction of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, will initiate expedited removal proceedings and “take additional actions to enforce civil and criminal violations of the immigration laws.”

USCIS spokesperson Matthew Tragesser confirmed that no official agency changes have been announced yet.

However, Tragesser emphasized the administration’s commitment to immigration enforcement.

“President Trump and Secretary Noem have given USCIS the ability to use all tools in our toolbox to ensure that the integrity of the immigration system is upheld, fraud is uncovered and expeditiously addressed, and illegal aliens are removed from the country,” said Tragesser.

“Our top priority remains the screening and vetting of all aliens seeking to come, live, or work in the United States,” he added.

Earlier this month, President Trump ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to escalate operations in sanctuary cities.

These deep blue jurisdictions are overrun with illegal aliens as local governments have refused to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.

The move comes amid reports that far-left city officials, backed by well-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs), are working to shield criminal illegal aliens from deportation.

In one extreme case, a Los Angeles official reportedly urged local gangs to “mobilize” against federal immigration agents.

The development also comes as Democratic officials continue to push expansive benefits for migrants.

New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, who has campaigned in multiple languages and advocated for free housing, transportation, and child care for illegal aliens, has drawn scrutiny for promoting policies critics say would expand sanctuary protections and incentivize illegal crossings.

The Trump administration’s push to dismiss fraudulent or invalid asylum claims is likely to intensify the national debate over immigration enforcement and border security.

With over 1 million pending asylum applications, the proposed changes could mark a major turning point in U.S. immigration policy.
