President Donald Trump is demanding the immediate arrest of six Democrat lawmakers who released a viral video this week calling for a military coup by urging members of the U.S. armed forces and intelligence community to “refuse illegal orders.”

Trump is blasting the move as a dangerous, coordinated call for a military coup.

In a blistering statement Thursday morning on Truth Social, Trump warned that the Democrats’ video represents “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.”

“Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL,” Trump declared.

“Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!!

“An example MUST BE SET.”

Trump also reshared posts from supporters, including one who wrote:

“Hang them George Washington would!!”

Democrats Release Video Telling Service Members to Defy “Illegal Orders”

As Slay News reported, the one-minute video, titled “Don’t Give Up The Ship,” features six Democrats, all with military or intelligence backgrounds, directly appealing to U.S. service members:

  • Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI)
  • Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ)
  • Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA)
  • Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA)
  • Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH)
  • Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO)

“We know you are under enormous stress,” they said.

“You can refuse illegal orders… you must refuse illegal orders.”

The video did not name Trump, but its message is unmistakable, and it issues a warning against following directives from the current commander-in-chief and War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Hegseth responded instantly on X, calling the stunt “Stage 4 TDS.”

Trump: “Seditious Behavior From Traitors — Lock Them Up”

The president doubled down in a second Truth Social post:

“This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country…

“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!!

“LOCK THEM UP???”

A third message drove the point even harder:

“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!

A Coordinated Anti-Trump Campaign

The lawmakers behind the video are part of the Democrats’ militant national-security wing:

  • Slotkin — former CIA analyst
  • Kelly — former Navy captain
  • Crow — Army Ranger, Bronze Star
  • Houlahan — Air Force
  • Deluzio — Navy
  • Goodlander — Navy Reserve intel for 11 years

In the days leading up to the video, Slotkin and Crow introduced legislation explicitly aimed at stripping President Trump of military authority, including:

  • The “No Troops in Our Streets Act” to block Trump’s National Guard deployments
  • A war-powers resolution to stop Trump’s strikes on narcoterrorists

The video itself masks these political goals, presenting their appeal as a “constitutional reminder.”

However, critics say it’s anything but.

Conservatives Warn of a Dangerous Precedent

Conservative commentators labeled the video an open call for military defiance, the very thing Democrats spent years falsely accusing Trump of encouraging.

Many argue that these lawmakers crossed a line no elected official should ever approach.

Trump’s supporters compared the video to “incitement of insurrection”, noting that urging the military to override a sitting president is one of the gravest acts a member of Congress can commit.

Trump Derangement Syndrome

What Democrats framed as a “constitutional message” has now exploded into a national firestorm:

Six lawmakers with intelligence and military backgrounds released a video urging troops to disobey the president.

Trump is demanding their arrest for sedition.

The video coincides with Democrat bills designed to strip Trump of defense authority.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth says the stunt is pure “TDS.”

Democrats spent years warning of “threats to democracy.”

Now, they’re the ones openly encouraging the military to defy the commander-in-chief.

For millions of Americans, Trump included, the message couldn’t be clearer:

This wasn’t a “public service announcement.”

It was a test balloon for a coup.
