A former Pentagon official-turned-whistleblower has revealed that a congressional leak exposed an alarming plot to “eliminate” insiders who were pushing to reveal government secrets.

The shocking claim was revealed during the latest episode of the “Hang Out With Sean Hannity” podcast.

The episode featured former Pentagon official and UFO whistleblower Luis Elizondo, who recalled receiving a chilling warning from a congressional staffer.

The staffer warned Elizondo that there was a secret plot to assassinate him and fellow whistleblower David Grusch.

According to Elizondo, the staffer had just left a classified briefing on Capitol Hill when the warning came.

“There was a plan to eliminate you,” Elizondo said, recounting what the staffer told him.

Elizondo Says Staffer Warned Him After Classified Briefing

Elizondo said the congressional staffer was “inebriated” when the call came in.

The staffer had reportedly just left a classified briefing where government officials had discussed information involving Elizondo and Grusch.

Elizondo did not provide details about who allegedly formed the plan or what exactly it involved.

However, he made clear that he takes the threat seriously.

“It’s the reason why I have five German shepherds, and I’m heavily armed,” Elizondo said.

A second staffer allegedly called Elizondo shortly afterward with another warning.

“[The] first thing he says, ‘Lou, are you okay?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I’m fine, why?’” Elizondo recounted.

“He’s like, ‘Well, you need to really watch yourself. Because there was discussions involving you and Grusch, that some people were very upset with what you guys did.’”

The warning adds another disturbing layer to the long-running fight over what the government knows about UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena.

Elizondo and Grusch Pushed for UFO Transparency

Elizondo and Grusch are both former intelligence officials who helped drive calls for the release of classified information involving UFOs, now often referred to by officials as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

Their push for disclosure has sparked intense interest from the public and lawmakers.

It has also reportedly triggered resistance from powerful insiders who do not want sensitive information exposed.

Elizondo’s comments suggest the opposition may have gone far beyond bureaucratic stonewalling.

If his account is accurate, whistleblowers seeking transparency were not merely being ignored or discredited.

They were allegedly being viewed as threats.

The possibility that insiders discussed targeting whistleblowers after they challenged official secrecy raises serious questions about who controls the information and what they are trying to keep hidden.

Burchett Was Warned He ‘Kicked a Hornet’s Nest’

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), who also appeared on the podcast, said he received his own warning after pressing for transparency.

Burchett said he was at home when he got a call from someone connected to the administration.

“I was sitting at the house and I got a call from… a friend of the administration,” Burchett said before confirming he was referring to the Trump admin.

“It told me that I’d kicked a hornet’s nest, and it said, you need to get bodies around you.”

Burchett said he was not intimidated.

“I’m in East Tennessee; I’ve got bodies around me,” he said.

“There’s enough good old boys out there…”

The Tennessee Republican said the push for disclosure has clearly angered people who want the subject kept buried.

“Lou will tell you we have kicked a virtual hornet’s nest, and these people don’t want this stuff out, and I have my own theories about that as well,” Burchett said.

“I’m sure Lou does, too.”

Whistleblower Claims Raise Alarming Questions

The allegations point to a troubling reality surrounding the government’s UFO secrecy.

For decades, Americans have been told to dismiss the subject, mock witnesses, and trust official denials.

But whistleblowers, lawmakers, and former intelligence officials are now warning that the truth may be far more serious than the public was ever allowed to know.

Elizondo’s claim that he and Grusch were allegedly discussed as targets inside a classified setting is extraordinary.

So is Burchett’s claim that he was warned to surround himself with protection after demanding answers.

Both accounts suggest that the fight over UFO transparency is not simply about strange objects in the sky.

It is about whether unelected forces inside the government can hide information from the American people and threaten those who try to expose it.

The public deserves answers.

And if whistleblowers were targeted for revealing government secrets, Congress must find out who was behind it.
