Explosive new evidence has emerged in the mysterious disappearance of retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William Neil McCasland, revealing that the “UFO General” met with members of a shadowy U.S. Space Force unit just hours before he vanished without a trace.

Newly surfaced bodycam footage reportedly shows investigators interviewing witnesses connected to McCasland’s final known movements before the retired general disappeared from his Albuquerque home on February 27, 2026.

The revelations are intensifying speculation surrounding McCasland’s deep ties to classified aerospace, nuclear, and unidentified aerial phenomena programs as President Donald Trump’s administration continues releasing long-hidden UFO disclosure files.

‘UFO Gatekeeper’ Vanished After Space Force Dinner Meeting

McCasland, often referred to by researchers and lawmakers as the “UFO General” or “UFO gatekeeper,” reportedly attended a dinner meeting with officials tied to a U.S. Space Force unit the night before he disappeared.

According to the report, the meeting occurred around 6 p.m. in Albuquerque and involved McCasland alongside Space Force personnel connected to monitoring unexplained aerial phenomena for national security purposes.

A witness interviewed by police described McCasland as behaving unusually during the gathering.

“I was shocked this morning when I saw the alert because what I noticed Thursday evening [February 26] is he wasn’t his usual self,” the witness told investigators.

“He was kind of spacey and quiet and you know that that happens with people.”

The witness also claimed McCasland remained deeply tied to classified aerospace programs even after retirement.

“He was the head of Air Force Research Lab to the point the man’s names are in the UFO documents that are fixed to be released,” she said.

“He’s in that depth, so he has a very high security clearance.”

McCasland Walked Out of Home and Disappeared

According to authorities, McCasland walked out of his Albuquerque home on February 27 and vanished.

He reportedly left behind his phone, prescription glasses, and wearable tracking devices, but took his wallet, a .38-caliber revolver with a holster, and a red backpack.

Massive search operations involving the FBI and local authorities have so far failed to uncover any trace of the retired general despite extensive searches in the Sandia Mountains foothills.

A Silver Alert remains active.

The bodycam footage also included comments from McCasland’s wife, Susan McCasland Wilkerson, who revealed he had recently been prescribed a new medication for sleep issues, unexplained weight loss, and anxiety.

“Today he had taken a drug that the doctor prescribed last night that was supposed to help him sleep with weight gain,” she said.

“He’s lost about 20 pounds for no reason and with anxiety.”

She added that McCasland woke up complaining he felt “foggy” and unable to motivate himself.

Congressman Says McCasland Held Major UFO Secrets

McCasland’s disappearance has drawn intense attention because of his history overseeing highly sensitive military and aerospace programs.

He previously commanded Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, a major hub for nuclear weapons research and Space Force operations.

The top military official later led the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Wright-Patterson has long been linked to persistent claims involving recovered UFO materials and alleged Roswell-related programs.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), one of Congress’s leading UFO disclosure advocates, described McCasland bluntly.

“He’s the guy that had a lot of nuclear secrets,” Burchett said.

“I’ve been told by several sources that he was the gatekeeper for the UFO stuff.”

Although McCasland’s wife has attempted to downplay claims of direct UFO involvement, questions continue mounting because of his classified roles and the timing of the Space Force meeting.

Disappearance Adds to Growing Pattern of Mysterious Deaths

McCasland’s disappearance is now being viewed alongside a growing list of deaths and disappearances involving scientists, engineers, and experts tied to aerospace, nuclear propulsion, NASA projects, and advanced defense research.

The report cites incidents ranging from a NASA scientist found charred in a Tesla crash to aerospace engineers dying in suspicious accidents.

The pattern has intensified concerns among disclosure advocates who believe a broader effort may be underway to suppress sensitive information as the Trump administration pushes for greater transparency surrounding UFO files and classified aerospace programs.

President Trump himself addressed the growing number of incidents during exchanges with reporters.

“Well, so far, I mean, they’re individual,” Trump said.

“We have a lot of scientists… Some were sick.

“Some left this Earth self-inflicted.

“Some had other things.

“So far, we’re finding that there’s not much of a connection.

“We’re going to be doing a full report, and it’s very serious.”

Disclosure Push Raises Stakes

The disappearance comes as the Trump administration continues releasing previously classified UFO-related materials in what officials describe as an effort to restore transparency and public trust.

Critics of the intelligence community argue that decades of excessive secrecy surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena and advanced aerospace technologies created vulnerabilities to abuse, suppression, and foreign infiltration.

McCasland’s role at both Kirtland and Wright-Patterson positioned him at the center of some of America’s most sensitive national security programs involving nuclear systems, propulsion research, and space intelligence.

Now, with the retired general still missing, mounting questions surrounding the Space Force dinner meeting, his classified background, and the broader pattern of unexplained incidents are only fueling demands for answers.
