ICE Arrests Dozens of Illegal Alien Child Predat…

A major operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has resulted in dozens of illegal alien child predators being removed from the streets in Minnesota.

ICE arrested multiple illegal aliens convicted of sex crimes during a targeted operation in Minneapolis.

The results of the operation were confirmed in a press release issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The targeted enforcement action was conducted from June 6 to June 11, 2025.

It led to the apprehension of multiple illegal aliens previously convicted of egregious sexual offenses, many against children, while unlawfully residing in the United States.

Most of those arrested were Laotian and Thai nationals, several of whom were walking free in Minneapolis despite convictions for assaulting minors.

Among those arrested:

  • Pao Angelo Vang, a Laotian national convicted of 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child
  • Thong Lao, also Laotian, convicted of 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child
  • Va Vang, a Laotian illegal alien convicted of 1st-degree sexual assault
  • Xiong Pao Vang, convicted of lewd acts with a child under 14
  • Yia Xiong, convicted of 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct
  • Pok Vue, convicted of 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct
  • Additional Laotian nationals with convictions ranging from 1st to 3rd-degree sexual crimes
  • Tou Pao Lee, a Thai national convicted of soliciting a minor
  • Yee Shae, also Thai, convicted of sexually abusing a minor

ICE conducted the operation as part of a broader Trump administration initiative to remove dangerous criminal aliens from American communities, especially in “sanctuary” jurisdictions like Minneapolis.

In a direct rebuke to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the DHS stated:

“Under Tim Walz’s leadership, these depraved individuals have been walking freely around Minneapolis with impunity, terrorizing American children.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin added:

“These pedophiles and sex offenders are the sickos our brave ICE law enforcement are putting their lives on the line to arrest and remove from American communities.

“Instead of comparing ICE to the Nazi-Gestapo, Governor Walz should be thanking our law enforcement for removing these pedophiles from Minnesota.”

Sanctuary city policies in Minnesota have increasingly drawn fire from conservatives and federal immigration officials, who say they endanger American citizens by shielding violent criminals from deportation.

President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan signaled that the administration is preparing to escalate its efforts.

“We are preparing to triple down,” Homan said, emphasizing that federal law enforcement will focus on jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with immigration authorities.

“We’re going to flood the zone on sanctuary cities.”

ICE officials confirmed that the Minneapolis crackdown is part of a wider national operation targeting illegal aliens with convictions for homicide, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and aggravated assault.

The DHS press release closed by reaffirming the Trump administration’s unwavering commitment to public safety and its goal of removing criminal illegal aliens from U.S. neighborhoods, despite political resistance from left-leaning state and local officials.
