Former President Barack Obama’s private rebuke of his own party is not sitting well with the hosts of ABC’s left-wing propaganda show “The View.”
Whoopi Goldberg was especially outraged as she melted down on Tuesday.
Goldberg raged over Obama criticizing Democrats for failing to push back effectively against President Donald Trump.
During a closed-door donor event last Friday, Obama reportedly told supporters that Democrats needed “less navel-gazing” and “less whining,” and that too many on the Left were shrinking in fear rather than confronting Trump head-on.
Obama told the Left to “toughen up” and stop “whining” about Trump.
“What I have been surprised by,” Obama said, according to The New York Times, “is the degree to which I’ve seen people who, when I was president, or progressives, liberals, stood for all kinds of stuff, who seem like they’re kind of cowed and intimidated and shrinking away from just asserting what they believe, or at least what they said they believe.”
Obama added, “It’s going to require a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining and being in fetal positions.
“And it’s going to require Democrats to just toughen up.”
That criticism drew a sharp and emotional response from Goldberg, who insisted Democrats have done more than enough.
She also blasted billionaire Mark Cuban for calling out the reactions of Democrats.
“So, let me remind everybody who was out on the frontlines marching when we had the giant marches that went on,” Goldberg said.
“It was the people. The people went out.
“They were not navel-gazing.
“It was older people who were saying, ‘Why are you touching my Social Security?’
“It was not people whining,” she claimed.
“It was about people saying, ‘Why are you taking these rights from my child when my child was born here?’”
Goldberg continued, “This has not been about Democrats lying back, this has been about y’all.
“This has been about y’all, because their messaging was always the same.
“Democrats have been angry about what this man tried to do the last time, and they’re angry this time.
“So, with much due respect to [Obama and Cuban], I believe you are pointing the finger at the wrong person when you say Democrats.”

Her co-host, Ana Navarro, took it a step further, declaring “Trump sucks” while falsely suggesting that American citizen children are being deported under his immigration policies.
After claiming that Trump was deporting children instead of criminals, despite ICE confirming the individuals targeted had committed serious crimes, including murder and sexual assault, Navarro shouted:
“And yeah, okay, so some of us say that Donald Trump sucks.
“He does suck! And it feels good to say it.”
Co-host Sara Haines provided a rare moment of candor, admitting Democrats have no real plan on immigration and are instead offering empty resistance.
“It would be a ripe time for some elected Democrat to come forward with a secondary plan that isn’t just march against ICE agents and sanctuary cities,” Haines said.
“People want common-sense solutions and no Democrat is coming out and saying, ‘This is a decades-long problem, it crosses all administrations, but here’s what I’m proposing.’
“I’ve heard none of that.”
Meanwhile, left-wing riots have broken out in places like Camarillo and Los Angeles in protest of ICE raids targeting violent offenders.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests involved “some of the worst of the worst,” including individuals charged with murder, fentanyl trafficking, and sexual assault.
Protesters responded by throwing Molotov cocktails, launching projectiles at federal agents, and setting vehicles on fire.
Yet rather than call for order, Democrats like Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and “The View” co-hosts have chosen to double down on emotional rhetoric, insisting that Trump, not lawless rioters, is the real threat.
As Obama pleads for his party to “toughen up,” Goldberg’s response makes one thing clear: the Democrat establishment may have lost control of its base, and no amount of closed-door warnings will stop the meltdown from spreading.
