The murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was completely ignored during Sunday night’s 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, despite the show’s long history of using its stage for political grandstanding.

Just four days earlier, the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was assassinated at Utah Valley University during a Q&A session on his “American Comeback Tour.”

The shocking political murder drew international headlines and condemnation from President Donald Trump, who called it a “heinous assassination” and an act of “political violence.”

But when Hollywood’s elite gathered at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, not one actor, director, or host acknowledged Kirk’s death.

Instead, the event was saturated with progressive politics.

Viewers Furious at “Deafening Silence”

The silence over Kirk’s murder did not go unnoticed.

Social media users blasted the Emmys for refusing even a brief tribute.

“So they decided to be non-political this year is why NO Moment of Silence for Charlie Kirk at the #Emmys,” one viewer wrote.

“What a joke Hollywood has become.”

Another noted the double standard:

“Charlie Kirk was not mentioned once at the Emmy Awards.

“George Floyd was mentioned numerous times in previous Emmy shows. Absolutely disgusting.”

Stars Push Hamas, Attack Trump

While Kirk’s death went unmentioned, multiple Hollywood figures used their platform to push left-wing causes, including open support for the Islamic terrorist group Hamas.

“Hacks” star Hannah Einbinder ended her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series by declaring: “Go birds, f**k ICE and free Palestine — thank you!”

Her co-star, Megan Stalter, carried a purse emblazoned with the pro-Hamas slogan “Ceasefire!”

Staler told reporters: “We have to use our platforms.

“What’s the point of being at these big events if you’re not going to use your privilege?”

Oscar winner Javier Bardem attended the event wearing a keffiyeh, the same scarf worn by Hamas terrorists.

Bardem upped the ante over his fellow celebrities, urging sanctions and a “commercial and diplomatic blockade” of Israel.

He claimed: “Here I am today denouncing the genocide in Gaza … free Palestine!”

Bardem also confirmed he is organizing “Film Workers for Palestine” to boycott Israeli companies.

The boycott pledge, signed by more than 1,800 entertainment industry workers, includes stars like Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix, Tilda Swinton, and Olivia Colman.

A Political Stage — Just Not for Conservatives

The show even featured digs at President Trump.

When “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” won for Best Writing in a Variety Series, senior writer Daniel O’Brien quipped:

“We share this category — we are honored to share it with all writers of late-night political comedy, while that is still a type of show that’s allowed to exist.”

The remark was a jab at CBS’s decision to part ways with left-wing host Stephen Colbert earlier this year, with some reports suggesting the move came amid negotiations over CBS’s merger with Paramount and pressure from the Trump White House.

Hollywood’s Selective Outrage

The contrast was glaring: no mention of Kirk, a young conservative leader, gunned down in front of thousands.

Hollywood stars lined up to promote Hamas talking points and bash Trump while ignoring the brutal public murder of a fellow American.

For many conservatives, the Emmys’ silence confirmed what they already suspected: in Hollywood, political activism only runs in one direction.
